Mtech's two three-week summer courses for high school students attracted 77 students from around the U.S. and seven other countries, including Sweden, Honduras, Great Britain, Nigeria, Spain, Taiwan and Germany. The courses were offered as part of the university's Young Scholars Program. ENES 140, Discovering New Ventures--Foundations of Entrepreneurship, teaches students the basic business, strategy, and leadership skills needed to launch new ventures. ENES 141, Introduction to Technology Marketing and Product Development, gives students the opportunity to learn the principles behind developing and marketing technology products.
